Founded in 2012, Baer & Bosch Auctioneers in Cheyenne, WY, commissioned us to create a visual identity for their curated auction catalogs. In addition to designing, we also distributed Baer & Bosch auction catalogs of fine and rare watches, jewelry, clocks, artworks, and other collectibles. We created a design system that takes advantage of the catalog’s double-page spreads by using solid blocks of color and graphics to help guide readers through different sections. The colors, signage, and typography are consistent throughout the book to create an elegant presentation with strong branding for Baer & Bosch auction house. We also designed the logo for them.
The design is flexible enough to be used in a variety of formats, from a single-page flyer to full-color catalogs or postcards. Our goal was to create a system that would extend the strong brand and make it more recognizable throughout Wyoming as well as other parts of the world. The Nonsuch Media team examined the auction industry to learn about the relationship between the auction house, auction clients, and auction categories. After intensive research, our team felt at liberty to provide a highly crafted design solution to present stylish and sophisticated auction catalogs.
