We were so excited to work with Baer & Bosch Auctioneers because they have some of the most exclusive and premier items in all of Wyoming. With their amazing selection, we wanted a way for people browsing through their catalogs to be able to see at first glance how remarkable everything was that they had available. Our team established an approach combining photography alongside clever design elements like oversized lettering, color blocks as dividers between pages within each auction lot section, and gridded layouts for showcasing images.
The Nonsuch Media team conducted an in-depth investigation into luxury auction houses. Our goal was to analyze what it takes for auctions and understand relationships between key players such as those who sell their items at previous sales or participate by bidding online. With extensive data from experts within different sectors of this industry, we knew Baer & Bosch Auctioneers needed more than just another “cookie-cutter” solution. The results were clear: We had to design a modern and visually pleasing auction catalog to highlight Baer & Bosch’s featured lots.
Through every detail, Baer & Bosch’s auctions are designed to be not just a celebration of what is being sold but also an expression. By designing each cover in collaboration with artists and using the colors from different sections as accents throughout the catalogs’ pages, we created more than just beautiful artwork for Baer & Bosch’s clients; we created a brilliant brand identity that ties together all aspects of these events.
