Baer & Bosch Auctioneers is always looking for ways to be more creative with their watch auction catalogs. They never use the same-old, boring descriptions that are typical in most auctions and have even started incorporating beautifully crafted illustrations as part of the experience. We were tasked to create a new style catalog to highlight featured lots. Baer & Bosch uses striking colors and clear graphics to make their auction catalogs stand out. Baer & Bosch’s elegant, simple style is iconic in the world of auctions because it highlights simplicity- an attribute that helps potential buyers focus on individual items.

We created various concepts for different pages and styles within a catalog- one that was more traditional with numbers or one that had an illustrated feel. The chosen illustration would depend on what they wanted to present their watch auctions. Once the watch department decided on the style, we made sure everything from the fonts to colors was cohesive throughout every page of this new auction catalog and all other aspects of Baer & Bosch’s branding. It is essential that any changes are carefully considered so as not to disrupt brand identity seen across all mediums – print layout, website graphics, etc.
